Question For Logo Designers: Do You Need A Week To Create A Logo?
This is just a survey of the logo designers who are participating the Favorites Compilation.
Currently you get about a week to create a logo...if we could cut it down to 3 days, we could complete the 20 logo project a lot sooner. If you need a week, that is fine. However, if you don't need that much time, we could adjust it. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 02-07-2005 at 01:05 PM. |

well, just speaking for myself, I definitely could use the time. It's already very tight for me as is.

Well, I can tell you this much Eugene, it seems that there are two different camps of designers.
I generally get half or so of the logos within a few days of the announcement and then another flurry within the last 24-36 hours. The days in between are pretty scarce. I'm not sure if the later entries are because of procrastination, design time, or just waiting for an idea to pop into their heads.

We'll just keep it the way it is...especially since you get a late flurry of entries.
I am retired and many times forget most people have a job and family outside of OOTPB. |

![]() I'm finally going to start in on my Indianapolis Rounders logo today. Hopefully I can get by the deadline. As to the current timeline, I think it's working out well. |

If you are a young fellow...save at least 10% of your pay...sacrifice if you have to...and invest it...especially if your company has a 401 K program...max out on if you can. Then when you get ready to retire...you will be able to do it comfortably...plan now...cause it will come a lot quicker than you think. |

I've only been able to submit 2 entries in 4 weeks due to time. If we shortened it, I'd never get to enter. Let's leave it at one week
