OOTP Logo Contest Week 3 - Finals Poll

Here are the finalists for the San Jose Sunrays.

I chose the top six entries from the first round, which worked out to be all of the logos that received 20 or more votes.

Here they are:

Look over the quality of the logos in this poll. I saved the template on 7 for this one.

I will try to set up next week's poll with two composite graphics to increase the quality, we can see how that works out.

the multiple choice first round is coming back to haunt me. i chose 4 and they are all here. now i cant easily choose between them. this round is definetely the toughest so far. vote to follow....

edit 1: down to 2,9,19 but just cant decide...

edit 2: finally made my decision and the quote below from the original announcement sealed the deal. #2 gets my vote because it incorporates the hillsides found all throughout the region plus the obvious sun reference. good job by all.

Maybe it's because I'm listening to the Old 97's song "Nineteen" right now, but I had an easy time picking one.

A setting of 7 or 8 should be fine. Even 6 is all right, but of course the higher you can set the slider the better it is. The 100 KB limit does make for a challenge.

yeah. If I keep them to around 5 or 6 logos per file, I should be able to keep it up around 7 or better.

Fine designs by all of the designers.

#19 is my favorite...I'm a sucker for sunburst and yellow and orange colors and fancy script lettering and a baseball and the city name and nickname in big letters...this one has it all.

All of these finalists are to be commended. I could have picked any one of them as my favorite with a few slight alterations.

They all are winners.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your skill and talent and time with us.

We have about 15 more fine logos to choose for our leagues.

It was a dogfight between #9 and #19 for me... but #19 just barely wins out as it seems more Californian and San Joseian to me

They are all great. Can't wait to see who did each one (although two of them are obvious)

My two are not that obvious! ...Er, well, okay, maybe they are.

In any case, taking a page out of Cuss' book, for my submissions this time I went the "whole package" route and completed a full set for each. This means a secondary logo, wordmark, and an alternate logo as well. I'll post them once the voting wraps up.

I've got the beginnings of a quite different design for the forthcoming Indianapolis Rounders which may not be so recognizable. Hopefully I can pull it off...

Wopps! I missed the first-round voting process. Oh well, it's good that I am still in time for the final poll.

Again, very nice logos! Thanks.

Please vote if you haven't!

Congratulations on being picked this week's favorite, Le Grande Orange.

You really did some great versions of this logo. I hope you resize the additional ones you did in another thread and get them posted in the compilation, too.
