The tackling skills of the Eagles DBs will probably be the difference in this game. All the Eagles fans who miss Bobby "Ole!" Taylor, raise your hand. Nobody? Nobody?

Man, it's gonna suck so bad, so hard, if we lose this one. We got a dome team coming up to play outside on natural grass in the cold of January.

Kind of like a couple years ago when you had a warm weather team that never wins in freezing temperature.

I know, that's why it's not a guarantee.

Vick may not be a mature quarterback yet, but he's got the ability to make a couple or more big plays in a game, which could throw everything off.

The key isn't going to be stoping Vick, there is no way to prepare for him. They have to stop Dunn/Duckett.

Sorry Eagles, I gotta root for the Falcons to clip your wings yet again. As a Cowboys fan who had to live in Eagles country for about 6 years, I'm sure you'll understand

Dunn and Duckett are not a worry.

Torrier totally impressed me last game, and that's saying something since it's the first NFL game i've watched in three years.

Shoudl defiatnely be intresting to see how the Falcons handle the Eagles D. They seem to like that blitz

This will be the only game so far in the playoffs that isn't a rematch from the regular season. If the Eagles and Steelers win, it will end up being the only game that wasn't a rematch. Just weird.

I'm right with you, CommishJoe. However, I don't root against the Eagles with the same ferocity as against the Giants and Redskins.

Does anyone else find it funny that Freddie Mitchell has more nicknames than career touchdowns?

I don't think any Vikings do.

I think the Dirty Birds will win, but in the end it won't matter. The winner will again come from the AFC.

Boy, did the Patriot's defense look awesome against the Colts?

I give Freddie Mitchell credit. He's taken a meaningless career - he's only still in football because he was a #1 pick - and achieved very disproportionate fame with regard to his performance. To top it off he is a fairly ugly man.

I'm not worried about Vick passing - I don't see any way that he will do better than Culpepper, whom the Eagles have handled twice now.

The Eagles can stand to surrender two running TDs. Which would be about as many as any team has gotten on them since I can remember.

I think McNabb will finally have the confidence he needs this year to not get flustered as he has in past championship games. The real McNabb has not shown up for any of these games - and this is Villanova alum Brian Westbrook's chance to show that he is the most underrated skill player in the NFL.

As I said, one thing the Eagles have that most teams don't have are d-backs who don't miss tackles. Sheldon Brown is the only one not going to the Pro Bowl and in my opinion he's the second best d-back on the Iggles. I haven't quite bought into the Mythos of Trotter like every other Eagles fan, but you have to admit that the team has been different on D since Andy Reid finally admitted that Simoneau was a bad signing.

Now, if they are unable to tackle Vick - a definite possibility - that will be our downfall. But I'm going to go ahead and say not this year. Final score Eagles 24, Falcons 3.
