NABL has immediate openings

The North American Baseball League(NABL) has 9 teams open and we are looking for some quality GM's. The league was started between a bunch of friends from a gaming site so game ownership is not required but highly recommended.

The league has been on stand still for a while when I moved and then went thru some computer problems, but all are good and thats why we are in need of some quality gm's.

The following teams are open:
Cleveland Indians
Anaheim Angels
Seattle Mariners
Atlanta Braves
Milwaukee Brewers
Colorado Rockies
San Diego Padres
Toronto Blue Jays
New York Mets

Since your league is just starting out, can you pick another name? There already is a North american Baseball League, and its into its 30th season. No need to confuse everyone with multiple leagues with the same name - ala the EBL...

We arent a new league but I do understand your concern with the names but since we have been around for about 9 months now and this is the first time that you knew that we were around, I am not in agreement with changing our name.

The only reason that I posted our league on the boards is to get some new members because I know that there is a lot of people out there that want to get into leagues but they do not have the league, since we dont require ownership to be in the league.

I hate to sound so hard headed on this issue but it comes down to the fact that we started this league with a bunch of friends for fun and after the season we lost a few members and I just wanted to post on the boards our openings. As far as I am concerned this will be the last time that you will ever hear about my NABL on the boards.

I rarely, if ever, check the boards, and only come around here to post an opening myself.

If you want to keep the name, its up to you. Not like I patented the damn thing, just wanted to give you the option of avoiding confusion. A name change is fairly easy to do - NABL to UNABL or something. Not anything radical.

You will have openings, so just wanted to let you know there is another, established league named NABL, and to give you the opportunity to avoid confusion.

Just an update that we have 3 openings right now and we have the 3rd sim of the season coming up tonight. Unlike in my original post, game ownership is required.

FYI--This is not the original NABL, this is the CRTsports-NABL, due to the fact that there is already an NABL out there, that is 30 years strong.

San Diego Padres
Toronto Blue Jays
Cincinnati Reds

Also do you have a "Full League" file download available? One that has news, boxscores, logos, etc?

I am in the process of getting the rules back up asap today. I can tell you that there are no weird or random rules. Its just basic baseball in my opinion.

As for a full league file, I dont load a full league file on because of the fact that I am on dialup and my connection usually times out and I have tried many times to load a full file but no luck. I have never had any problems with loading the small league file.

Florida Marlins
Atlanta Braves
