knuckler: Need West Bend Merchants logo
knuckler: I would appreciate a WEST BEND MERCHANTS logo made just like you did that fine Jersey City Royals. My league is in 1913 now and a group of businessmen purchased a team that isn't doing very well on the field or financially. They changed the name to MERCHANTS...a common name in semi-pro ball down through the years...they did this when one businessman wouldn't foot the bill for the team by himself, so several of them would go together and sponsor the town team. I decided to go with an oldtimey name that has a sense of that time and place.
Use the same colors as Jersey City (blue and yellow)...only do the circle logo. If the "WB" doesn't look good interconnected like the "JC"...you don't have to overlap them...just put them side-by-side. Use the "baseball club", too. Do it exactly like you did Jersey City...just change it to West Bend Merchants. No rush...whenever you get the time. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-11-2004 at 01:56 AM. |

EC --
I'm having some issues with my monitor, so it's hard for me to tell if this looks ok or not. I'm still going to work on the w and B overlapping, but this is my first take: Last edited by knuckler; 06-30-2007 at 05:50 PM. |

Mighty fine design in all respects...you did a great job on placement of the "WB"...those letters are harder than "JC" to make look good...you did it.
Thanks. |
