Well, this seems to be an intresting offseason for the Dodgers. Instead of Vasquez, they would much rather have Lowe. At $9 million a year.

On one hand it's too much if it's really $36 mill x 4 years but on the other hand it's less than the rumored amount lowe and Bora$ were looking for (I read between $10-12 million per season from a couple sources).

I'm not sure what DePodesta is basing Lowe's worth on for 4 years at that kind of jack. The 4th year worries me. Still, as a Dodger fan, I'm glad to have Lowe in the rotation instead of possibly Ishii or Dessens. I hope they can find a taker for Ishii.

Rotation:
Perez
Lowe
Penny
Weaver
Dessens/Jackson/Ishii

No true #1 in that bunch but it has the potential to be solid top to bottom.

I have to wonder if this means DePo is certain something can still be worked out with Green and the D-backs.
