"Baseball Analysts" Top Prospects of 2006
Bryan Smith of www.baseballanalysts.com has sent up several columns recently covering the players he rates as the top 75 prospects in MLB for the 2006 season, along with a considerable amount of honorable mention candidates. Makes for some good reading whilst we move through the January baseball doldrums.

I surprised that Eric Duncan's stock has risen more than it has (Ranked 57th on the list). He really tore it up in the AFL and won the AFL MVP.

Just to think, the Pirates had a chance to get Felix Pie, but instead picked up Bobby Frickin Hill.

You know, I'd be a lot happier at having the second best pitching prospect on that list if it weren't for the fact that we could have had the first and second best.

Seeing all those LAAoA middle infielders suuuure doesn't make me pissed over that $32 million we gave to Orlando ****ing Cabrera. Nope. Not at all. I'm not even considering going on a killing spree or anything.

Speaking of Angels' prospects, I was taking a gander at Kendry Morales' stats o'er at The Baseball Cube. First of all, he's really really good. What are they going to do with Casey Kotchmann when he comes of age? Second, they had some pretty detailed stats for his days in Cuba. How did they get them? Third, is he playing in the WBC?
