Fiedler put on IR - season over

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1930584

The only thing that sucks about that? I have to pay off the bounty now

But we're SO CLOSE to Sage Rosenfels under center. Finally! Go Sage!

Without Fiedler's strong arm, I think this really hurts the Dolphins' playoff chances. Tough break, fellas.

Sounds like a bonus for those folks who picked Rosenfels on their fantasy teams.

I hope the AJ Feeley expiriment is over too. His performance last week was gutsy, but the fact remains: He's not a franchise QB.

He probably won't play the whole game this week, so Sage will probably get a shot. Not that you can expect much in front of that turnstile of an offensive line.

Poor Jay Fiedler... The guy has seen some serious bad luck. He was underappreciated the first 2.5 seasons he played for the Fins. Just as he was becoming a very solid quarterback, he broke his thumb in that Broncos game two years ago. He hasn't been the same since.

We were having bets on how many players Fiedler could get injured with his
god awful passes.

The only way I could have appreciated Fiedler less than he deserved would be to blame him for the Dolphins loss in Super Bowl VI.

I can say that I saw him lose more games than win. People always bumped up Fiedler by pointing out his winning percentage, but realisticly how much of that could be credited to him?

A good backup quarterback. No way in hell he should be starting for three seasons straight.

I thought Fiedler's season was over a long time ago.

Any word from fin-land as to who their next coach will be?
