Ok, If I want players to develop quicker and play longer, what is the best setting for the modifiers?

I couldn't agree more. I wish someone would start a league or even implement these modifiers in an online league. I'm sure a lot of us would be all over it.

I don't follow all the nuances of the aging threads that closely, but I think these are opposing interests. If older players play longer, they take playing time away from youngsters that they need to develop... so to get younger players up the ladder, you need the older players to (a) drop off sooner and (b) be evaluated more on how they are now and less on how they did two years ago (since an older player was still good two years ago, while a younger player was in Single-A or high school) so the AI will give young guy playing time.

That said, SkyDog's post linked above is probably the place to start.
