Greatest Season of All-Time?

I lost out on the bidding war for Carlos Zambrano by about 500k in the offseaosn of 2007, and he's turned out to have maybe the greatest season by a pitcher ever, it's quite ridiculous, I've never seen anythign like this... late August right now...

26 Starts, 20-1 (lost start #24), 1.38 ERA, 192 K's, 182 IP

Player of the Game 16 times
From May 19th to July 30th, he had 15 starts, and threw 12 shutouts

I think he is clearly the MVP and obviously a sure in for the Cy Young, but is it possible for a pitcher to win the MVP in this? I haven't seen it so far.

Amazing - it will be fun to see how many awards he wins.

I had a pitcher once go (Modern Era, mind you, OOTP 6, highest difficulty settings)
32-0, 35 starts, 1.26 ERA, 321 K's in 254 IP. 16 SO's.

He didn't win the MVP either. I think the game is coded to only consider batters for that award.

There's an outstanding batter award and an outstanding pitcher award. There is no most valuable player award in the game.

That's a good point although I always felt they were in there because OOTP didnt have th MLB lisence (sp) to use the awards real names.

Here's my nomination (modern era, non edited, created by OOTP database):

31-1, 1.48, .68 WHIP,10 CG, 5 SO
or
32-3, 1.35, 16 CG, 7 SO, .66 WHIP
