New York Mets Postseason

So, fellow Mets fans, what do you think will happen, and what do you think should happen?

Personally, I think it's time to embrace a rebuilding period. The team needs to restock itself with good young players and let the older ones go. Get rid of them for prospects. I'd take another bad year in 2005 if they can build themselves for the latter part of the decade. I think the Mets have historically been their best when they have taken that kind of approach.

That would be postseason as in after the season, like off-season, not as in playoffs.

Hey, 2000 wasn't that long ago.

Well the managerial search is down to Randolph, Jaramillo or Terry Collins.

How a team that just had its manager pretty much lose the clubhouse even considers Collins, a guy whose last team started a mutiny against him, is absolutely frightening.

Between this and rumors about Sosa, I don't see much changing in Met-land in the near future.
