All-In-One 2004 MLB Installer!
Want to play OOTP6 with current MLB rosters? With ballpark images, logos and facepacks!
With the kind permission(s) of DraftDodger, Ankit and Halofan, I proudly present: 2004 MLB for OOTP 6!, available at OOTP Download Center, in the "rosters" section: All you need to do is downlodad the 26mb file, unzip, run the installer and play the game! You can choose which elements to install. Don't want the facepack? You can choose not to install it. Again, I must give thanks and proper credit to Halofan, DraftDodger and Ankit for their hard work and tremendous add-ons. All I did is re-package them as an installer, thus (hopefully) saving people some confusion as to how to get real, current rosters into the game. Again, click here to download. --Eriq. |

Sounds great, has anyone actually tried it out yet?

In the screenshot it says it is the 8/2 halofan set.
It's nice to see everything in one place (and properly credited!). This should make it easier for those who play real MLB leagues. |

A fine eriqjaffe production...with a lot of help from others.
I have never played a current MLB league. This may inspire me to try it. Thanks, eriqjaffe. Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-03-2004 at 09:01 PM. |

I couldn't get the installer to work on my laptop.. It kept telling me that I only had 46.7 megs of space avail. even though I have like 50 gigs. I tried it like 3 differents times.

I hope someone took a look at HaloFan's league; I found it unusable. Too many non prospects have all star ratings, and legitimate allstars find themselves displaced in the lineup by career minor leaguers.

Hi everyone
just downloaded the all in one file and having some trouble to get it going, the rosters load ok,but the pictures and logos dont show up,and when i go to play a game there is no ballpark picture,I just downloaded the file and let the self installer do the rest, when i open the game i select load file and then pick the 2004 file and like i said the rosters are there but nothing else. also i know where the pictures and logos go but where do the ball park pictures go thanks in advance |

PATCH!
I identified the problem with the graphics conversion part of the installer, and have remedied it. Hopefully, a fixed installer will be available over at ootpdownloadcenter today. If you've already installed, and don't see the graphics, download and run the patch, which I'll attach to this post. For those who want to know, the graphics conversion is taken care of in a batch file, which I wrote very poorly. It worked on my test system, but nowhere else. The patch contains a batch file that I tested on two different systems, and using some non-standard install paths, and it worked just fine. Sorry about the mistake! --Eriq. |

I agree about the prospect thing in Halofan's roster set, don't know what the deal is with that, but I was going to give this a try, unfortunately I tried downloading it with 3 different browsers and got
! C:\Documents and Settings\DJ\Local Settings\Temp\MLB 2004.zip: Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive ! Cannot execute "C:\DOCUME~1\DJ\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX04.368\MLB 2004 for OOTP 6 Setup.exe"

The new updated version is up at the Download Center. Try downloading it again neohemp. You may have caught me in the middle of updating the site or something.
