Installation Question

Hey folks...

I'm edging ever closer to actually purchasing OOTP. Before I do, I have another question that I was wondering if someone would answer.

I'm a little unclear how the purchase/download/licensing works. Specifically, this: Does your computer need to be hooked up to the web to download and purchase the game? I know, that sounds like a dumb question, but bear with me. I have a desktop with a DSL line, but would like to install OOTP on my laptop, which is sadly free of decent web access. Can I simply & speedily download the setup program to my desktop, then transfer it to my laptop, and run the setup there? Or do I have to tie up my family's phone line while my crummy 56k laptop modem downloads the setup program and does whatever else needs to be done to get me up & running on the laptop? I guess I'm just not altogether clear on how the process works...

Apologies for posting such a dull, no-fun question. I checked the FAQ and couldn't find an answer. You guys were very helpful on assisting me with the demo, so I turn to you once again.

You can transfer the setup program to your laptop and then run program on laptop and go online with laptop and pay and get your code.
