Need OZARKA NATURALS logo
Since Skywalker's logos have been done and there are no current requests for logos, hopefully someone can do an OZARKA NATURALS for me. Maybe Roy Hobbs will be signed by the new owner, J. R. Ewing.
I've always thought the Ozarka Bottled Water logo would be a good one for my fictional league. See it below. Please remove "natural spring water" and "Home and Office Delivery". You can leave the flowing Yellow banner. It is a good separator between OZARKA and the area for the nickname. Put NATURALS in Sky/Light Blue lettering in the area below OZARKA where "Home and Office Delivery" are. Or you could expand the size of the flowing Yellow banner and place NATURALS in Sky Blue lettering inside the Yellow banner. If you could, just add "NATURALS" in the same colors and design as OZARKA and in a similar font, that would be great. Make "NATURALS" just a little smaller than "OZARKA"...so it will show up well on the OOTPB mid-sized logo screens. OR DO IT ANY WAY YOU FEEL INSPIRED. Ozarka will replace the Westmont Warhawks, who have fallen on bad times and are in financial trouble. Jock Ewing, in order to separate his squabling and battling offsprings, J. R. and Bobby, who were Vice Presidents of the Waleska Westerners of the Federal League of Ruthlandia, gifted them with their own franchises. Bobby now has the South Fork Stallions in the United Baseball Association of Tycobbia (named for Ty Cobb) and J.R. has the Ozarka Naturals. Ozarka is a town of 48,000, located on the Crystal River in the Ozark Mountain foothills in northwestern Tycobbia, famous for its pristine mountain streams and beautiful cascades and waterfalls. It is a resort area for the rich and famous with splendid hotels and lodges and fabulous night clubs and entertainment. J. R. was much involved and a prime mover in the financial development of the area and decided to move his team there. Bobby quickly named his stadium after his dad, Jock Ewing. When J. R. learned of this, he named his stadium after his mother, Miss Ellie...Ellie Ewing Stadium. He couldn't let Bobby outdo him. Now their rivalry will expand to baseball. And as fate would have it, they are in the same division, too. Thanks for your time and talent. It is always appreciated. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-23-2005 at 02:18 PM. |

Very, very well done, knuckler. This is a keeper even if I get my original request. Yours is excellent. I'm beginning to think you designers come up with better ideas than mine.
I love the mountains with the baseball rising or setting...very creative touch. Your lettering and lettering trim is outstanding. This will really show up well on OOTPB screens. I can't wait to see it. The 3D effect makes it stand out, too. You always do excellent borders/frames. IMO a frame really enhances a logo as it appears in the game on the gray backgrounds. Great colors with the two shades of blue...you really created a mood of a winter wonderland of fresh mountain air...makes me wants to head for the mountains and sip an ice cold Ozarka. Hopefully, someone will try the Ozarka water logo, too...or create something unique like you did. Thanks again for a fine logo. Last edited by Eugene Church; 10-15-2004 at 11:34 PM. |

Here you go, Eugene. I followed your example graphic fairly closely as to the basic design layout. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

Very fine creation, LGO. It is amazing the work that both you and knuckler have done.
The sunrise baseball is great...colors great...like the yellow circle...fine fonts...the expanded yellow banner...a very nice traditional feel to the logo. Naturals new owner, J. R. Ewing said... (in his Texan dialect)..."he 'preciated it vary much". I don't know which one to choose. Both are splendid. I'll swap them out after 25 seasons. Thank you both very much. I only have a few more logos for my fictional leagues (40 teams) that need to be revised or touched up because they are missing town names or nicknames...or get spotty on the midsize game main scoreboard. I hope both of you will continue to help when you have the time. I will post them once a week or so, depending on how heavy the requests are on the forum. LGO, that's one of the best logos that I have ever seen made. I fully understand why Eugene would use that one over mine.
![]() Eugene, feel free to post some today. I have some time today and would be glad to work on some for you. |

"I don't know which one to choose. Both are splendid. I'll swap them out after 25 seasons." I still can't choose between them. They both are excellent. I think I will alternate them a year at a time...and use a coin toss to determine who goes first. Last edited by Eugene Church; 10-17-2004 at 04:34 PM. |
