Browsing a online baseball logo archive I cam across the logo attached below.
It's hard to even fathom a time when a pro sports team would feature a cigarette as their logo and call themselves "The Smokers!"

Now I just have to watch e-bay for the next 10 years to see if I can get one of their jerseys...

Tampa apparently was famous for cigars...there was a brand called "Hav-a-Tampa"...not a smoker...luckily never was after the age of 8...an uncle gave me cigarettes, cigar, and chewing tobacco and it made me very, very sick one day...never touched one since....Thanks, Unkie.

You should try contacting Ebbetts Field Flannels. They make vintage flannel uniforms, and had that Smokers jersey in their catalog for a long time, which is where the image comes from. Unfortunately, vintage doesn't come cheap, it's 235 dollars.
