Rice to the Seahakws...

Look like Rice will be a 'hawk. For a seventh round pick...

Wow! Good deal for the Hawks. Sad to see him leave the Bay area though. Oh well, I'll always remember him as a 49er.

The Seahawks just need someone who'd not drop the ball.

Grrrr.

Sore subject. The last three losses for the Seahawks have been because of a) defense against the pass and b) dropped balls. The Green Bay loss in the playoffs, the collapse against St. Louis and the recent moral victory against New England. Bobby Engram doesn't drop passes, but he's not as good as Rice in the possession, third down, safety valve type role. Robinson and Williams will still be the main targets since they make plays, but Rice should give Hasselbeck a Sure Thing.

They've been needing that help for the last couple of years. I've been watching alot of Seahawks games lately, and most college teams catch the ball better than the Hawks. Hasselbeck should just throw the ball to himself, better chance of it being caught.

After complaining about not getting the ball in Oakland, I'll now remember him as a 40-whiner.

7th round! You don't treat Jerry Rice like that no matter how bad he is!
