OOTP 5 screen not refreshing

Hello all... Here is my quick breakdown...

I just purchased OOTP 5 after having played Season Ticket Baseball (CD dated 2001) for a year or two. I had the same trouble in both Season Ticket Baseball as I do in OOTP 5. I bought OOTP 5 thinking it would correct this issue. I'm glad I bought OOTP 5 regardless however, since it looks great!

The game runs flawlessly, no problems unless I let the screen saver kick on. When I come back from whatever I was doing and move the mouse, my desktop appears, but OOTP 5 remains black. The entire screen with the exception of the outer most border. I can't get the OOTP 5 screen to clear, so I have to end task it. I have tried using both screen savers that are advanced and Windows basic. I am running a 1152x864 resolution.

Here is my system setup...

P4-1.6G with 768 Meg of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX420 card with 64 Meg onboard. SoundBlaster Live! audio. Running Windows XP SP1. Norton, Intel onboard temp sensor, Zone Alarm and NVIDIA config app all running in the background.

Please let me know if any of you know this issue or the proper fix. I have tried several diferent background task configurations, but to no avail. Thank you!

Either disable the screensaver or close the game, OOTP(and some other software titles) don't work with screensavers.

Glad to hear it is just the OOTP software itself and not an issue with my system. Have a great weekend!
