Exclamation quick opinion question

I am getting ready to finish my player histories for my roster set and was wondering just how many people would like these? If you dont know what they are, when you are in the game and you see the lower right hand corner and it has the scouting report and you can toggle between that and the history of that player and his accomplishments, those are what im finishing now. In my eyes, it adds more realism to the file and in a way, it can bring you closer to your players and the way they play. i could be crazy or insane, but i have been called worse

let me know what you guys think

I think player histories are great. I included them in my 1987 league file and have heard from alot of people who really enjoyed them. The one downside is that if people use CATO and the format of the player histories is incorrect then that can cause errors. My format I mean using wording in a different way than the CPU does.

I say add them!

I use fictional guys but if I used the real rosters I'd love to have the accurate player histories in there.

I think that the only thing you have to be careful about is adding lines that have the championship name in it, i.e. "World Series" or "World Championship"... but only Jeff would know for sure.

Using my 1987 league file I had problems with guys who I had added All-Star game appearances, gold glove awards, and MVPs. At least that has been my experience.

the only problem i have had as of yet while testing them, is that they have a tendency to run together abd not stay in chronological order, im still messing with this tho, but i havent seen anything else, but then again, i dont use the catobase program

Personally I like to have player histories.
