Player Photos (Lil Help Please)

Hi,

Just bought OOTP6 this morning. I've been adding the MLB Rosters (by the Cardinals guy) and adding Player Photos. My problem has been getting the player photos to appear on the player info pages.

The photo files are named (for example) : Albert_Pujols.bmp

but the game shows something like: p035.bmp cannot be found

when you are looking at the player page.

What do I need to do to get these Photos to show up on the Player Pages?

In the above example, you would have to rename the file to p035.bmp

There are various batch conversion programs you can try, and someone over on the Mods board might have a few more tips to try.

You could always make it easier on yourself and download the installer that I made, which gives you rosters, logos, parks and photos...all with a nice GUI interface.

Get a free software...Irfanview...it will change the names to numbers.

Works very well.

I am computer-challenged, but got a lot of help on the Mods forum.

That's where you should also post.

It looks like though you have all player photos enabled, it isn't finding the "PHOTOS" directory for that league.

Make sure that there is a directory named "photos" in your league directory.

So if your league directory is "C:\OOTP6\MyLeague.lg", you'll need to have all the photo bmp's in "C:\OOTP6\MyLeague.lg\photos".
