GFBL looking for active members

Hey

The GFBL is always looking for active players. The forum is a great community to hang out with close to 400 registered members.

As a player, you get to put yourself "in the game" and watch your created player play throughout his career. You get to make your own decisions as to what team you play for, demand trades, handle your contract (including no trade clauses and incentives), hire an agent to try and get more money, set your personal strategies, etc.

You can also join the waiting list to become a GM. As a GM, you can pm the members about contract extensions, personal strategies, trades....anything. The best thing about this league is that all players are real life people and you have to deal wiht your players like you would to a real player.

We sim twice a week (WED and SAT), and each sim consists two weeks of game time. The game is not required for this league.

You can improve your players by various interesting ways such as winnign the lottery, play fantasy baseball or simply get luky during spring training.

Yes the GFBL certainly is a GREAT league.

But what's even better is those Playmakers. Yes, the expansion team that is playing at the same level as many other teams. They're hoping to be the best expansion team in GFBL history but they need help from you.



You'll get your shot on this team before you would on most others. Why is that? Because we're young and always willing to give new players a chance to prove themselves. You won't be wasting away in the minors for 2-3 years on the Playmakers. You'll be getting a shot and if you don't live up to expectations right away, you can develop in our Triple-A affiliate. You guessed it, the....

Don't forget about the Titans.. We had the worst record ever a couple of seasons ago but we rebounded in style in our sophomore season.

I'm stlouispt3 on the boards, so If u want to play for us, just PM me there.. Or just wait for my PM if I like your player. We are in need of MR for the majors and SP for the AAA affiliate.

That beign said, another bump for GFBL. You don't need to be very active to be part of it, but you may find yourself wanting to be more active.

(By the way... Beavers GM here. Nothing wrong with the Beavers. Fine organization, that Beavers team.)

I am in this League for a Week. All i can say is join, after a bad expirience in a Players League (i dont remember the Name ) i found Gold very nice Guys on the board you become a instand part of the Community. So if you look for a Players League where you will be treated with the respect every human deserve join in
