Where is a good place to find MLB Financial Rule?

Do you mean transaction rules (waivers, options, etc.) or like, luxury tax and revenue sharing?

Well, trading rules like this is the trade deadline, I know when it is, but I have never seen a sight that has the rules written. Other rules like what constitutes a free agent. Can you trade free agents right after signing them? Waiver rules?

Collective Bargaining Agreement currently in effect answers some of these questions:

A good place to find lots of rules is in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (if you don't mind the legal language). You can read it in all of its "glory" right here. It's long, it's dry, but it's official.

BAH! Sporr beat me to it, lol. That's what I get for stopping OOTP and doing work ... while I'm at work. Hmmm - now why haven't I received that raise, yet?

Except I still didn't see where it says a person cannot be traded until July 15 after signing as a free agent.

Page 81 (bottom left where it says x of 234) on Sporr's link under (6) Miscellaneous. Sorry, can't copy and paste from Acrobat. They can only be moved if they give written consent in essence.

No wonder I didn't find it, it says assigned instead of trade and June 15 instead of July 15.
