HOw do you reinstall game??

I am having problemsw/ ootp6, and the game will not start up. My comp is a compaq presario special edition. I am running windows ME, I have 128 MB of RAM and have 78% of free HD space. When I do try to run it, I get an error message saying ootp has caused an error in <UNKNOWN>. I heard reinstalling might help. Do you just put the set-up file over the game? Where do i find the set-up file? Any help would be appreciated!

The setup file should still be on your HD unless you deleted it. Just double-click on the "OOTP6setup.exe" file.

I may have deleted it. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Am I stuck and have to buy the sim again?

I re-installed the game and it still doesn't work. Do I delete all my ootp6 stuff then download again? I don't want to risk losing the game.

Update to directX 9 and try it.

I already run direct x 9. I re-installed that as well, but still the same error appears.

What screen resolution are you trying to run the game at?

my screen is 1024x768 pixels. Under the ootp6 properties it is set to start in normal screen.
