For the online league I commish, if I put the zip file up on my site for the owners that have the game to download, and then I make moves on my team, or from emails from other owners without the game. Will that mean that any owner who DL's that zip file won't be able to sent me their lineups because it isn't exactly the same? So far only 3 owners have tried to sent me their lineups through FTP and 2 of them said invalid or old file, while the other one worked perfectly. I haven't been able to figure out the problem, but that just clicked. Is it from me making changes in the "home" file without them being in the zip everyone is DLing. Or is it some totally different problem?

If you make changes to a team after you have posted the league file, and the owner of that team sends in a team file, it will probably be invalid, unless the change you made was very minor. You can change your own team all you want, and any others that you don’t try to import later, but if you modify a team in almost any way, that will invalidate the team file of that team’s owner if they send you one based on the pre-modification league file.

No. If I read him correctly, he's only touching teams which aren't exporting which won't effect the teams which due export.

It's may be relevant that if you import a team and it works fine (the changes go in) and you try and import that team again the export will read as invalid.

If the only teams you modified were those whose owners don’t have the game, those changes will not invalidate any team exports sent by other team owners.

There are a few other things that will invalidate ALL exports. I can't remember which specifically, but if you turn off or on some League Setup options, it will make imports invalid.
