Wink Get this...

Ross Gload just came up to my 25 man roster when I traded away Justin Morneau... and I recieved an email from the Boston trainer two weeks later...

Ross Gload is Day-to-Day
He had a little fight in a bar, and had some teeth knocked out... he is day-to-day but full recovery could take 4 days.

All I can say is that I guess Ross Gload must of been the only non-drunk person in the bar and he was talking about being a clutch player, and was punched in the face by some drunk guy (or more than one)... what do you think happened?

I think it's obvious that your division rivals sent in some thugs to cause trouble and pick a fight with The Gload.

It's disgraceful, really.

I bet him and Doug Glanville got into an argument about who was more clutch. Obviously Glanville won.

Glanville and Gload (NOT KIDDING) are on the same team... mine
Maybe it was about playing time? or about who has more intangibles?

I had Juan Uribe get knocked out in a bar fight.

On 10/2/07.

Getting into a bar fight RIGHT BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS is not clutch.

Maybe Gload slept with Glanville's wife.

This is all a plot by opposing teams to give Gload a bad name. They ambushed him. And if you think losing a few teeth is a lot, you should see the other guys.

Some irate White Sox fans probably settled the score with Gload for Gload's poor defensive performance agains the recent series with the Cubs. Then again, if they were really White Sox fans, Gload would be on the permanent DL list.

What's worse? A drugged-out White Sox fan and his son going after a third-base coach or drunken Cubs fans trying to play copycat the following season by attacking umpire Laz Diaz. Actually, it's funny... turns out almost every incident at Comiskey Park in the past few years has been perpetuated by a Cubs fan (and we all know their history with running onto the field and stealing hats at their own park).
