Newbie question on simulating

OK, I hate posting something that seems so simple, but I couldn't find it in the OOTP 5 manual, and it's something that's difficult to search for, and I failed to find anything relevant.

I'm brand-spankin' new to OOTP6 (and all OOTPs, actually). I'm playing a league I created, and am running just one team, the rest computer.

Is there any way to simulate, for example, every game on a given day except those that have a human-managed team? Whenever I sim the day it does my game too. I want to play all of my games and sim everything else. Seems there should be an easy way to do that.

Any suggestions?

Also, this is also probably simple, but how do I prevent the computer for making substitutions for me in-game? I'd rather make those calls myself...

Gracias

Steve

The game will simulate the other games as you play out yours. I don't think there's a one-click-only way of simulating them all before you play out your own.

On the first screen after you click "play", make sure "Substitutions" under your team's name is set to "Human".

Edit: Also, under your team's "team setup" menu, you did change "Controlled by" to "Human Manager", right?

In the schedule screen (where all the games for a day are listed) click on "Play" (instead of "Sim") for the game you want to play out. You will then see another screen where you can indicate "Human" for things like Substitution, Base Running, etc., for the team you're controlling.

Gotcha. I had thought that saying the team was human-managed was enough, but I must have missed it inside the game sim engine.

Duly noted that I can't sim all of a day EXCEPT my game.

Thanks all!
