Possible schedule bug

For my online league (v6) I decided to fix a schedule problem from the last season (v5) where the home games were not evenly split so I generated a new schedule while I was doing all of the pre-season edits before releasing a season starting file.

When a new schedule is generated it is setting the game date to that day, so I advanced from Feb to April. I can get around this by regenerating a schedule that starts the regular season in Feb. and then re-doing it again after spring training since it ignores the games untill Spring training is done.

It would be nice if it didn't do this though so I could work on the schedule prior to right before I need it.

Use the export schedule feature to export your schedule when you have it set the way you want. Or, export whatever OOTP generates and edit it outside of the game to what you want, and then import back into OOTP just before you begin your regular season.

Yep, as LGO said, you have to wait until all off-season activities are complete before you modify the schedule or you'll end up with this little headache.
