The GFBL is looking for Pitchers
The Graphic Forum Baseball League is looking for pitchers.
(Graphic Forum is just our name - You don't have to be a graphic guru to hang out with us) The GFBL is a league of 8 teams and we are looking to expand for next season, which is just around the corner. We need more players (especially pitchers) to field these new teams. The GFBL is a message board based league that places your forum sign-in as a player in our league. From there the sky is the limit to what you can do with your player. We have GMs, agents, business owners and we even have people trying to set up a law firm to settle player disputes with owners. Your imagination is your only limit here. We are looking for active individuals that would like to "Get in the Game". We are currently using v5 of OOTP but owning the game is not a requirement, all you really need is a valid email address and a will to play. We sim two weeks at a time twice a week so the seasons tend to pass by fairly fast so you can watch your player mature quickly. Come on down and check us out and tell a friend or two. We have a great time in the GFBL and we're looking for you to join us. Forum link: http://cuss.proboards20.com/index.cgi OOTP League link: http://www.maxvisualstudios.com/cuss/index.html We have single season records of: Batting Average : .433 Home Runs : 53 Hits : 245 Stolen Bases : 84 Wins : 25 ERA : 1.66 Strike Outs : 318 Saves : 43 What can you do in a season? In a career? Sign up and find out! |

thanks for the post guys, and just one other note, you do not have to be a pitcher, but it is the most vacant position right now in the league especially with expansions coming up at the end of the current season.

I would recommend this league to anyone out there. The league is very fun to play in, and is very active. We also have a very dedicated Commish in Cuss.
As Cuss said, you can sign up as any position you would like to be, but pitchers are in high demand as of now, especially with the expansion coming up during the off-season. In this league, you can just be a regular player, or you can start your own company, open up a agency, open up a law firm, etc. You have a lot of options to work with that will enhance the fun in this league. |

^^What they said.
Active, fun, and an overall great league. The more players we get, the more teams, which also means the more opportunites for becoming a GM. We are expanding two teams this offseason to bring it up to ten teams, and if we continue getting players, in just a couple seasons, we could have 12-14 teams. Sign up now! |

And the strikout record is close to be broken by me! No not WilliamsNike, its SikWitIt! Dont have a name on this board so im using William's. I'm only 12 Ks away from 300 for the year and only 30 away from the all-time record.

Join up. Also don't be discouraged if you don't get great talents when your player is generated, one of our best pitchers in history has godawful talent ratings, including a poor in avoiding hits I believe.
