including age in player creation modifiers

I would like to be able to create more/only younger (h.s.) players when the game generates rookies for the draft

when

When I started the Jamaica League, I wanted all the players in the history of the league to have equal chances of building up career stats, so I had to manually edit all their birthdays down. The oldest players turned 27 the first year of the league.

I'd have to agree that this only sems to be fair to those would-be-hall-of-famers that simply would never make it because of their advanced ages when leagues start. Of course, it would be very interesting to see what kinds of stats would come from such a startup league. Hmm - I may just give it a try on a small scale. Release all players and delete the eldest, then generate new random prospects to replace them. Maybe a 4-team league?

Ah, well - I'm getting ahead of myself. Good idea!

I've done it a few times, starting a new league with all 21 year olds, for example. What I did was run the initial draft, export the player CSVs, go into Excel and set all of their birthdays to the same day, and re-import... this way, all the players who start the league of a chance at a full career.

The only drawback is everyone have the same birthday for a while, but I did it that was for speed's sake, it wouldn't be that hard to have random b-days within a range of 18-24 years old...
