League Totals with Ankit's Normalized DB
Ankit,
I downloaded your normalized DB, but I am thinking that there is something I need to do to the league totals each year to get the stats you did. i can't recalculate for historical accuracy, b/c it will assume that I want the stats of the year in question (I started in 1901). Any suggestions? Thanks... Ron Cook |

There is extensive posting about League Totals calculations going on in the OOTP6 General Discussions thread so you should look there. There is even a MOD that will tell you what totals you should use. It is called the ERA Calculator and it works nicely if used correctly. Otherwise just hit Recalculate for Historical Accuracy and you will get decent results.
Good luck! |

The problem is, I don't want historically accurate stats, I want modern era stats. Ankit created the normalized database so that all players would perform as if they played today, so does that mean I just use league totals from 2003?

Yes, use the 2003 totals. And then tweak them to get stats the way you want them.
