Strange Retro Astros Request
Okay fellas,
I know this one is weird, but... I'm looking for the best quality Astros home baseball cap logo, circa '86, maybe '88. Navy blue cap, orange star, white "H". My wife (who is a killer knitter/crocheter) wants to make me an Astros stocking cap. I can't turn down the opportunity to get her to make me one with the team of my youth...the mid-late 80s Astros. I'm having problems digging up a good example of the logo on the net for her to use though. I figured if anyone could help me, you guys could. So if you can help, you'll make a not-getting-any-younger dude really happy with a "classic" Astros stocking cap. TIA, -E

Eugene - Not bad, not bad at all. Thanks for the link to sportslogos - tonight was my first visit there. Amazing stuff! People might think you an Astros fan or something....

Stros,
Go ahead and e-mail them to me. I've been very neglectful of 'da Bank lately, but once things settle down and get rolling normally in my new league, I'll update it. I've already got a ton of them filed and labeled. Just gotta update the rest and upload. Fire away man, and thanks for contributing to it. ![]() -E

http://www.logoserver.com/ This is also great for logos and nicknames: http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/9735/ Sorry, StrosMan...The Duke of Donora...Stan "the Man" Musial... one of the top 10-20 alltime players...is my alltime favorite player. Not only was he a great player, he is also one of the great ambassadors of baseball. He always played it and represented it with class and good character. A great role model. If the Cardinals don't win, I hope the 'Stros do. |
