Dynasty Technicality Question

Well, I've loved reading this forum for a long time now - I love the creativity, inspiration, writing styles, and attachment that people have with their dynasties. With the time I have, I was simply wondering if anyone here has tried, would be interested in reading, or would be totally offended if a person used an online league as their so-called "dynasty."

What I mean by this is, with limited time I rarely am able to finish solo leagues at the kind of pace necessary to really do it the way most people do - and besides, I like to run Catobase and spend a lot of fiddling time on my solo leagues as it is. I also don't really have any webspace right now to be able to load stuff onto of my own, which I think makes it easier and more interesting to dynasties.

So, is it cheap or a copout for me to take my favorite online league, and use this forum as a sort of log of my sims, articles, trades, signings/cuts, personal thoughts? I'd be using screenshots of specific team-related things, and try my best to make it visually appealing. So, let me know your thoughts before I commit myself to doing it.

that sounds perfectly fine to me, and it will probably help others in your league enjoy the league that much more at the same time.

There are several threads here for owner's in the Time Warp Baseball league. They've created the personalities for the players and managers. No problem at all with it. Dynasty is different things to different people: There is no "right" way to do one. It's just a way to let us know how you play the game.

Yeah, I have no clue why I didn't really think about the Time Warp league, I've read into that thread a few times. But I think since it's more of a group thing, I just didn't really think about it as such. I don't think I'll be able to scratch the surface of how Matt pulls things off, but perhaps I can even convince some other members of the league to join up and get something going. Thanks for the support guys.

Chappy also has a very successful thread about his trials and tribulations in the NPBL. There are other online league dynasties popping up every now and then as well.

I guess he's the pioneer of this type of dynasty.
