locks up every time on OOTP6 Report

After playing out a game, and the OOTP6 Report comes up on the screen automatically, the game freezes up every time, without fail, with patch 6.02a installed. Prior to this patch, it did this occasionally, but not every time.

Then, the next day's pitching matchups and the Play/Sim options do not come up automatically in the League Schedule screen. I have to re-sim the current day, even though it's already been played/simmed completely, and then the next day's pitching matchups show up.

Using WinXP, 2.53GHz, 512k RAM, Intel 82845G grapics controller. Any ideas?

Go into game setup and change the browser that the game uses to open such reports.

I changed the setup to the External System Browser. The report opened in IE6, but the game and browser still locked up again.
