Roster Limits Question

I play with 21 man roster limits...no financials.

I put 9 pitchers and 12 position players...2 catchers, 1 first baseman, 5 infielders, and 4 outfielders...one or more of the players is the backup first baseman.

Yet the AI puts 25 men on the rosters...which means it adds 4 outfielders. It keeps the pitchers at 9, but adds the outfielders.

Is there a way to stop this or workaround this?

Can't you set the default roster size? I mean, doesn't that affect the AI as well as you? I haven't played around with that feature yet.

There is a place in League Setup where you set the roster limit size. That's where I put 21 as the limit, but the AI doesn't seem to recognize it.

It is in Financial Setup...roster limit size.

I also disabled 40 man roster.

I had the same problem, but I have my rosters set to 28 player. If I remember you have to do this a couple of times before it takes effect, that what I had to do. I think it worked after I saved the league and restarted the game. Give that a try...VR

to check goto team transaction and see if active roster shows ( 21/21) if you have league setting to 21 for active roster...
