I have not an artistic bone in my body so don't come with the "why don't you do them yourself" lame comeback .... Where are all the new skins????

I've been using Shub's Espn skin which is great but would like some more variety.

Funny, I was just coming to post the same thing. Anyone got a generic old-time skin for OOTP6, preferably one that gets rid of that wretched android picture?

I noticed this too. Last year we had at least 20 skins during the first few days that v5 was released. I guess the craze has worn off, which is unfortunate. So far we only have Shub's ESPN skin which I love and am currently using.

I'm using Shub's skin too. Great one.

NMLeague also showed us some lovely skins. I guess they won't be made available, but Shub's skin and his certainly show what can be done.

I hope some of the talented people around here will cook something else up.

Well thank you guys, hearing that people actually use my skin all of the time makes me want to do more. I know it's been downloaded a lot, but I download a lot of crap too, doesn't mean I use it all.

I've got another one nearing completion. Just another color scheme to change things up a bit.

I don't neccesarily want to have a request list, because then the list turns into 50 and then it's not fun anymore. However, if you guys have a good idea for one, I can definitely do it. Sometimes I get the creative block going and I get stuck. I can do a team skin, but I'd prefer to do something different, that way it appeals to everyone and not just Red Sox fans or Cubs fans like with a team skin.

I'm open to suggestions....

Sorry I got started on other things including actually using the skin for a solo league, and never made it available when it was done. Below is a link to a page with about 4 screen shots of the skin from the game as well as the zip link to download the skin. When you unzip the file you will have an "Oldtime.skn" folder, in the folder there are 6 differetn defaults pics to use, one is for my solo league, but the others look good in the game with the skin. Just pick the default you want and copy that to the graphis folder and rename it default. There is also a logo small file in the folder but it is one I tried for my solo league, so you will have to put your own logo small in the graphics folder. I may be changing the game play graphics for this skin, already have done them for another skin, if so I will update this one later.

Here is the link, let me know if there are any problems, anything you think would work better, or if there is any trouble downloading.

EDIT Almost forgot, as you can see by the screen shots I did a set of logos for this solo league by taking sections of the default picture to create each teams logo. Last year I had a file of those 8 logo bases that could be downloaded. If anyone would like those made available just post here and I will set the download from the skin site also.

Oh, someone also posted a good 1920's era group picture on this forum. I downloaded it and intend to incorporate it into my default for when my solo league moves into that era. If anyone would like a default for that era let me know and I will do one. It would look good as part of the default with a brick or fence background.

I love the colors on the Old Time Skin! Does anyone remember the Brick Wall Skin? That was by far my favorite. It just looked AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I knew how to do a skin. I looked at the FAQ and I have no idea what it says.

Thanks guys, I hope you can use them. Im kind of biasis (SP) but I really like the old time skin set with the default pic for my solo league. The other one has promise but needs some work, Im trying to get away from the skins that came with the game with different placement of things. Any ideas would be appreciated as they are works in progress, also even though I have checked out many of the screens there may be some graphic file that I didnt alter for the skins.

Also if anyone is interested in the Menominee Range solo league that Im doing, I would be happy to make that league file available for download. Its a fictional league starting in 1880 with a cap of $1 million. I have simmed it through about 5-6 seasons to get all the teams down to the cap and the finances inline.
