Editing high school and college list
Did anyone edit the college and high school list?
The .dat file seems quite different from the names and cities files. I'd guess that difficulty level are included in that list. There are some squares, and other characters, and names are all over the place, but can i just replace the names with new ones? |

From what other people have said, apparently you right now very much CANNOT just go in and edit the HS/College file like the names file. Crash city if you do.
Being able to do this was hoped for by many, including me, when the feature was revealed, so maybe it will be possible in the future.

Am I blind or can you never see the HS or College once the draft is over?
If that is true - does it make any sense? |

I don't think you can see the actual HS name at any point. Someone else said it first - a German guy having a complete list of US high schools would be pretty impressive. Anyway, yes, I believe those places and the stats are gone forever after the draft. I know people here have asked for the stats to be kept for future reference.
I suspect this new feature area will evolve and improve with time.

Has anyone just changed a school name without a crash? Or do any edits screw everything up?
