CatoBase ?: Fixing Duplicate Managers?
Jeff,
Thanks again for this amazing utility. I made a boo-boo. In my fictional league, after every season, I fire/retire a few guys, and sometimes re-hire them with another team later. Unfortunately, I screwed up one guy, and hired him in Pennsylvania without firing him in Texas. Is there a way I can go in a fix this (in Acess?) without having to re-import the seasons in question? Here's what his page looks like: Thanks, Gordy

You can actually do this in CatoBase. Click Edit/Team Info. Select the Year from the drop down and edit away. Select the next year and repeat.
If you have Access 2000 or higher, you can do it faster by editing the table directly. The manager is listed in the TeamInfo table. The manager pages get remade when the player pages are made, so the next year you process will show your corrections. |
