Patch 4.0 Question

On the welcome screen, patch 4.0 c is showing, which shows the patch is updates,

but the laham database still is not working,
i have the version dated 03/27/02 from
laham,

any help would be appreciated

If the file is dated 3/27/02 you do not have the latest patch.

The 4.0c patch was released on 4/3/02. Given that Markus fixed an error in the code and had to recompile.. the executable should be dated 4/3/02 as well.

Edit - If you really do have the proper version of the patch then you need to provide more information as the latest patch does work with the new 4.5 version of the Lahman Database, so there must be an error in the process you are following.... so let us know exactly what you are doing, so we can help.
