vr6 - an idea for an OOTP6 league

Hey everyone,

I'm the commissioner of vrMLB, a league that recently celebrated its one year anniversary (http://vrmlb.g5websolutions.com - the host we just moved into).

I was thinking - there are so many people interested in jumping into a new OOTP6 league (as there always is when a new game comes out), and I think it would be great for us to start another modern league with the OOTP6 engine.

vr6 would be run by me, with the help of several other familar vrMLB faces. vrMLB would go on as normally, so there'd be no worries there.

Simply, we're thinking we'll do a modern league

Let me know if anyone is interested, and if you are let me know what team would interest you - if we get a good response, we'll go ahead with it, and I'm pretty sure this is something we're going to do.

I'm going to be contacting you all regarding your team's availability (as we had a couple people make choices from within vr)

I'm working on a site - should be ready soon

We're looking at a modern league as I said, theres plenty of variations of settings that I'm experimenting with - theres so many ways you can do a league in OOTP6, the possibilities seem endless. If you've got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them - you can e-mail me at vrmlb@hotmail.com or reply here and I'll take everything into consideration.

One thing I'm sure is - we're going to be taking full advantage of OOTP6. 40 man rosters, waivers, Rule V draft will all be part of vr6.

I would be extremely interested in joining this league.

A problem I often run into is that you need to own the game to be in a lot of these leagues, I have been able to be very active without owning the game, so hopefully you're one of those commishes that wouldn't mind the extra few minutes for an active owner?

Alright guys, we're looking real good.
The response will some of the guys I talked to from vrMLB looked good - so we're going to be full soon. Many of you guys got the teams you asked for - but some of you picked teams that happened to be taken early by vrMLB guys.

Anyways - the layout for the site is done - filling out the blanks.
I'll be e-mailing and messaging those of you left somewhere for me to contact you (I'll be PM'ing you here if I've got absolutely no other trace).

Couple notes - any further applications here I'd ask that you'd include your full name, AIM, and e-mail address and a list of 5 teams in the order you'd want them - it'll make things alot easier for both sides as everyone who already applied here I'll have to reach and acquire that information - and also now the people who picked a taken team I'll have to talk to. It's my goof up, I thought we'd get a good response, but definitely got more interest than we expected - which is a VERY good thing, its just I didn't prepare.
