excellent decision

although if it would be possible to have text only signatures I would appreciate it. I click on the links a lot to check out leagues etc.

Yes, excpet that we still do get CGI Errors. I like the change if we don't get them anymore, but there still is some.

I'm glad to have them gone cgi errors or no.

A serious waste of bandwidth.

Removing sigs and avatars was a very good idea.

Some of the avitars were great ways to identify folkes. But, the soft-porn ones were beginning to be a problem at work and in my home with a wife and kids around. My little girl caught sight of one and was highly offended. In fact, I had to explain to her and my family that the picture had nothing to do with this board about a baseball game. So, if getting rid of the avatars keeps that from happening again, I'm all for it. However, the links in my sig were a great way to introduce gamers to my various sites without a lot of effort. But, I can still manually add links, so it's not the end of the world.

Well, this all happened because of all the visitors for OOTP 6, right? Maybe once things calm down they will return.

As for the soft porn ones, they were nice and actually allowed me to look at something I normally wouldn't with my fiancee around. I do understand the others concerns with his family and I do agree with him that this isn't the place. But i still miss them.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

I don't know why so many people have a problem with aviators. Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart were both American heroes. Cut them some slack, people.
