**** TB patch 1.4 released! ****

Actually we released it yesterday, but I couldn't post it, because the baseball freaks have been so busy on the forums that the server has been down.

The patch is again working for all previous versions. No need to uninstall or unlicense before installing the patch.

As always - Please be sure to make a backup of the TB program folder or at least of the subfolder /data before you install the patch.

What we have done:

- Added function to export multiple fighters to tbdx files, with optional filter for Group and Division
- Fixed a bug which let the game sometimes search for judges or referees when they should be choosen randomly
- Made minor changes to the scoring system
- Defense, Punching, Counterpunching and Proficiency can be edited in +1/-1 steps now
- Fixed bugs in the commentary class 2000 "slip/push, no knockdown" and in the "pushed down" function (the "KD after slip" bug)
- Added CSV export of history database table
- Added a column to display the points in the fight log html file lines
- During the fight, when you click the button "Simulate to end of fight", it will now use the scroll speed which you've set

Of course the fighter database contains all updated fighters, which are also available for download as single files at http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/tb/fighterdb/

Andreas, where are you with the title fight history page and title fight notation in the fighter history? That's kind of a big one that's missing and REALLY needed.

You forgot to update the version number on the main screen, Andreas - mine is still showing 1.3.1, but all the 1.4 features I can check for are working.

I have to ask this now that it's been several months... Why is there still no print feature??? This is a text sim so printing rankings, records and fight results IS A MUST.

To keep any records I have to manually type it up myself. This game has the worst micromanaging ever, as a result. Such an easy thing to implemant, I can't understand why it's still non-existent.

Andreas, what's the scoop on title fight history and titile fight notation on the fighters history screen. Is that planned?

Currently in the fighter's bout history, the title bouts are displayed in a different color. When you open one of the bout logs, the information whether it has been a title bout or not is displayed in the header.

It's planed for the role playing game to offer more infos about the bouts directly in the history section, with an editable "notes" field.

I agree, the PRINT feature should not even be discussed anymore, it should be taken care of. Why such a basic feature is being put on hold is beyond me...???

Other than that Andreas... the game is now as PERFECT as it can ever be as far as I am concerned.

I have been begging, asking for, suggesting and whining about this since December. Why has this been ignored for so long? I haven't even seen a responce to this oft-repeated request by so many?

Ok..had trouble logging in..I installed the patch..here we go again, Andreas..I dont see the simulate to end of fight icon during a fight..is this something new?

Where can I see the results..give me an example of what I can look up so I know I have installed the patch correctly.

Check if Clay the young Ali is now in the game HW retired

Also see if you can change the defence rating of a fighter by 1 INSTEAD of 2.

If Clay is there and you can change a fighters defence by 1 instead of the OLD 2 you must have the latest patch on.

The icon to simulate to the end of the fight is still the same one as before ---- its the last one on your right Earl.

Whoopee! The latest patch is here. Hooray. You can't print much yet, the title belt pics are nowhere to be found and there doesn't seem to be a history page....hmm!

But on the other hand you can....do that thing...there....with the number 1 or 2. Far out! Yes! Eggsellent!

Keep up the good work, boys. Wake me when you have something really interesting to shout about. I expect that will be just before the release of the RP version. Tut tut! How cynical of me. A sure sign of advancing years.

You know there must be something wrong Wildhawke or somebody because I dont even see Clay...this end simulate to end fight...is that the exact words on the fighters start bout screen because all I see is arrows like on a vcr and a auto button.

On the issue with Clay could it be possible I dont have all the fighters or loaded 1.4 wrong. Please help.

Ok help me out guys..sometimes I put the cart before the horse. I have the databases:

CubeDb (Cubedrums) my current one
title bout championship
My DB1/2

I change to TBC database and now both Ali's are there and Clay.

Now what is up with this.

Clay has a defense of -4 so I dont understand this change from 2 to 1 defence for 1.4 patch.

So again I am clueless.

I have 3650 fighters. If I used every updated fighter post from Andreas and this company is that the correct amount of fighters.

So four fold...what database should I use given my circumstances above, give me clue of what I should see with 1.4 patch..I dont see this Clay defence as explained above and I believe you change any of the fighters defensives before 1.4, and do I have the right amount of fighters even up to the latest.

Speaking of latest can anyone give me a current fighter's rating and maybe one of his ratings to see if I have the last upload from the latest list of fighters from OOPTS. Again thanks alot.
