Error code-12

I am having computer problems and need to get a new hard drive installed. I tried to unlicense both OOTP 5 and 6 and I get an error code-12. I am unable to unlicense the games.

• -12 This error occurs when you have a personal firewall/proxy installed on your computer. You may need to disable the personal firewall/proxy software temporarily to get your license.

I'm in the process of switching machines today as well, and have also been getting errors trying to unlicence (-9, -7, -3 and -4).

I know for a fact that I don't have anything local causing problems, but I also know that my ISP has 'transparent' webproxies that cause no end of problems.

On the other hand, one of the error messages was "error on licence server"

I completely uninstalled my internet security system and now I get error codes -10 and -6. This is frustrating!

get -10 error codes says I am not connected to internet????

ANY "elicense" errors or message needs to be taken up with them. There's really nothing that we can do concerning them.

It's working again now, so I suspect there was a temporary problem *somewhere*

FYI, I emailed the people at e-license and they quickly responded by re-issuing both licenses. I am very pleased with the service! BTW, I did not know how to contact them so I did a google search. Maybe there shoud be a sticky or something in the FAQ showing how to contact them. If there already is, I appologize but, I could not find anything. Which is why I posted here.
