Game Log Anomaly

Relatively minor thing - not sure if it has been mentioned:

When I disable the 'generate game log' option, I still get them generated - for other games. For example, if I click on 'game log' found at the top of the box score for a game between the Reds (my team) and the Rockies, I'll get a game log for the Cubs and Giants or whatever.

If I enable game logs, everything appears fine, as I get my team's own game log.

This is OOTP6 (patched) on an all custom league that was converted from OOTP5 prior to the patch. I'm in Manager Mode.

Just for an update: The problem seems to clear itself up by the third week of April in the generated schedule. No game logs are being generated now for any game on the schedule (which is what I had set it to).

Is it possible that these are game logs left over from the prior season?

That could be the reason sporr, but I'll have to check on that this evening.

Right now, it's worth noting that on my laptop where I created a similar MLB/fictional player league, but in OOTP6, I am experiencing no problems with the game logs. Thus I suspect it might be an OOTP5 to 6 conversion issue.

Yeah, my thought was that for whatever reason you had some previous season game logs hanging around. Then when the current boxscore tried to access the current log, it pulled up the old one since they have the same name from one year to the next.

Yep, they were game logs hanging around from the previous season. Never happened before, so it must have been a conversion side effect.
