Question for longtime players
Not sure if this is the right forum or not but it's in regard to league play so I'll take shot.
There's a league with a good core group of GM's but is having problems keeping a full roster of 30. There's talk of contracting down to 24 teams. My questions would be how is the best way handle it? Release all the players for a dispersal draft? If you do that, what effect will that have? Will that neutralize the impact of "good" players? The other idea I had was to just eliminate the teams and the players all together. Kind of like they broke away and started their own league. Like Lutherans. (sorry for the lame attempt at a little Sunday morning humor) Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

I'd release them into a pool to draft from. Allow bottom teams some advantage (straight draft rather than serpantine) for parity's sake.

id just about echo what blmeanie said.......you may want to drop two teams at a time tho, that was it isnt a "culture shock" to the league going from 30-24
