Talking New OOTP 6 Screenshots

Enjoy -

Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
Screenshot 3
Screenshot 4
Screenshot 5

Note - Those are JPGs, because of the compression they look a bit worse than the actual game

Rock on.

I may have missed it in a newsletter, but the improvements to the draft especially look good.

So the CAPS issue w/ last names remains for the 6th version of OOTP (looking at Lo duca)?

It is an FOFC reference. Franklinoble said something to the effect of "Screenshots are like going to a nudie bar. They look nice, but in the end you're left wanting more, and all you can do is go home and masturbate."

Hey, I actually like that Boston logo. It's got a cool late 70's/early 80's feel to it.

Heh, as much as I hate to admit it, that's a pretty accurate description.

I really like the addition of the scouting reports during the draft...

That may have something to do with Markus' roster file - my fictional league with the beta doesn't have this problem.

I don't like the scoreboard font. I never really liked System print. The 8s look like B's, the R's look like A's, and so on. Maybe it looks bad there because of the JPG thing.

Is there any way to completely disable the player photos, so that not only does the photo not show, but its not a blank box or question mark, etc?

The rest looks great, btw

Just a note on the scoreboard - it would be great if pixel-ated font could be used

The draft looks a ton better and is a very nice upgrade. I'm really looking forward to that part of the game in v6!

I also like the layout of the in-game screen but the font on the scoreboard and headers doesn't look the best. I would suggest choosing a different font.

I like that Nakamura made it to the bigs. He really should have signed with the Mets when he had the chance.
