Program Question
Are there any programs out there that are good for beginners wanting to start creating images? THats not to exsepensive.

I guess it depends on what you consider expensive....because they all are.
However, now that Photoshop CS is out, you can find Photoshop 7 for anywhere from $40-$50 (for an OEM), and that is very cheap for what I consider the best program out there. I used to have links to where you can get photoshop for $40, but I cannot seem to find them right now. I know I've posted them on the forum here before. Even Paintshop, which is a pretty decent alternative, is a bit pricey, I believe I the last time I saw it, it was around $75, but that was Painshop Pro 7, so it may be cheaper now that PSP 8 is available. Photoshop normally costs $550-$650 depending on where you look. Take a ganders at eBay, you can find an OEM version of Photoshop for $50. |

I use Fireworks MX, I've always liked that program with the style I like to use. I'm just a 'beginner" so to speak though.
