Red Sox freak here. Just pre-ordered OOTP6. Haven't played before but looking forward to it, for sure. Time to start reading some threads.

Welcome. Always good to see excited new members join the OOTP fold. Or is it "flock"? I guess it's "community", but there's got to be a cooler term than that. I'm not the one to come up with it though.
I'm sure searching the forums you'll learn quickly how to do stuff like replay past seasons, where I'd bet you'd want to try to lead the Red Sox to titles they shoulda won, or how to play this season and try to win the Series with the current Red Sox. It's not quite the same as real life, but as a Rangers fan I know leading your team to an OOTP title is quite satisfying.
