OOTP5 Glitch I'd Like Fixed

Just the other day I had something in OOTP5 come up for the first time and hope OOTP6 addresses it. I had a situation where my LF got hurt, and was out of OF on the bench, but my DH could play LF. So I wanted to make my DH the LF, understanding that by doing so my pitcher would have to bat. OOTP5 doesn't let you make this switch. It gives you a message telling you that doing so would require the pitcher to bat, I hit OK, then it went back and never made the switch for me. I wound up putting a utility infielder in Left. I'd like to see OOTP6 let you make the switch and allow the pitcher to bat in such an emergency.

Yes, it's fine that it tells you that the pitcher would have to bat, but it is a definate option that AL managers have. Should be fixed.

Yeah, I have come across that problem as well and woudl love to see you be able to do that.

The solution to this problem is easily fixable. Play baseball the way it's meant to be played and don't use the DH.

I normally agree, but I'm playing a historical sim in the AL in the 70's. I'm just stuck with it until I play another sim.
