Special thanks for our fine logo designers
Thank, guys, for another great set of logos.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU goes to: (in alphabetical order) bigD, Boozie, dbacks, Kelric, nmleague, PrestonKaye, Sandstorm, scotto and Shub...and to all of the other ones who contribute a lot of time and graphic talent to help us. I hope dbacks will teach me to put these with the 80 logos that are on JoeRock's site. Hopefully, it will be ok with JoeRock. This would give the OOTPB Community access to some very well done logos. I would also like to echo Eugene's comments. All the logo designers on this board do a great job. Without them OOTP wouldn't be a complete game. Awesome job, keep it up!

I echo these sentiments. These guys are fantastic. About 9-10 months ago folks were generating some fantastic stuff for me as well (when I was in the thick of creating a nice fictional league).
Of course, now Eugene Church is hogging all the designers, so I can't get anyone to touch my banner , but nonetheless, all of you guys doing this stuff are great.-E

Thanks guys
![]() Eugene, I can compile your 20 logos into a .zip file, and send them to Joe to upload onto his site. enuttage, if I get the time, I will definitely try a banner for you. If not, I apologize. Banners always take me longer to do than logos... |

I really need to get involved here more again. If Eugene would stop hogging all the board space and let others come forward with suggestions, I can help out more.

It's funny too, everytime I see Eugene requesting a logo in the third person, I always think of the Seinfeld episode when George picks up the third-person speech pattern from "Jimmy".
"George likes his chicken spicy!" "Eugene Church needs another logo!" lol. Annnnyyyywaaayy. Good to see you've got a good set put together with the help of these fellas. I'm sure when v.6 comes out there'll be a renewed interest in this forum as well. ![]() dbacks, tackle the banner whenever man. I've got a long way to go on my website for my upcoming league before I need the banner. Not that I'll complain if I have that done early though. ![]() You and shub gave me some of the coolest stuff last time around. Can't wait to see your take on things. -E

I always wonder about that.
Eugene, why do you have for topics, Eugene Church needs ___________. If you were the starter of the thread then most likely the logo will be for you

Originally my 80 logos last year were to be in one thread so the designers could easily find it. So I started using my name in the header thinking this would help them quickly find my thread. Last year we had more people requesting logos and more designers than we have had this year. A thread could get lost in the crowd. I would post 4 requests at a time. Several designers said it would be easier for them if I would do only two at a time. It was difficult to keep up with what had been done and this would help them. That seemed to work well. I have further refined it to just one request per thread. I never post two logo requests at the same time. When one is completed, then I post another one. This gives others a chance to get their logo requests done. Having seen 10 to 20 logo requests in a single thread and it seemed sometimes that all of the logos were not completed. I have found that doing one logo request at a time gets them done quicker. It has never been my intention to hog this page. Feeling guilty, I have several times requested that the designers do other requests before mine. I have many times bumped other requests above mine. I just request them and hope that someone will do them. So far, they have responded very well and I appreciate it very much. |

![]() Bottom line is that I just need to buck up and learn how to do the damn things myself. It's tough for me though...not exactly artistically inclined. I'm a producer, so I normally just tell people who are artistically inclined what to do... ![]() -E

I see that you and I are a lot alike..."we tell the artistically-inclined what to do." I'm real good at that, too. Sorry, gotta run...got to get my next 100 logo requests ready.

Last year I was asking for a lot of logos as well, but my collection is large enough that I can usually find/put something together on my own now.
2,753 logos and counting.... |

Hmm the word 'echo' is being overused.
But I too will echo these comments, even though it doesn't seem like I'm ever around here. ......I'm watching.
