Server Question

I'm wondering. How much diskspace & bandwith does an OOTP league need ? I'm talking full of the eye candy (photos, logos, etc.).

Also .. any suggestions on quality service, good pricing ?

There are several providers around here. Our league uses www.powweb.com.

BTPBL started with plan 1 of ALL IN 1 WEB SOLUTIONS.
-300mb space
-3gig of bandwith

We're already at plan 2 in the 3rd real month of the season. I think that plan 2 is the best choice, and we won't be pushing plan 3.
-500mb space
-7gig bandwith.

ALL IN 1 WEB SOLUTIONS, highly recommended!

My Oldtimers League also uses Powweb.

If you decide to go there, please use the link at the bottom of this post. Thanks.

Hmm. POWWEB or All-in-1 .. I thought there'd be more suggestions by now. OK, thanks guys.. I'll see what they offer. I'm in no real rush though, still learning and building. I just started reading an HTML tutorial 2 weeks ago; and as I was being shown things, I was applying them (I learn better if I do rather than read) .. and to my surprise, I've got a decent looking site coming along . Amazing when I look back at all those pages, and see everything I typed in ... especially, that a month ago I would have thought was all foreign.

Question though. The tutorial says you can't use .bmp on the net, but as I looked in the players codes (in the pxxx.html), they are all set to read .bmp. I know I've seen players pics on sites, so was I steered wrong by the tutorial ?

Oh, and .... I take it the 500mb and 7 gig is plenty ?

Lastly, if anyone wants to point toward some useful utilities, that'd be cool. I'm just enjoying the education right now; but eventually I'll make a league out of it.

Thanks guys

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

Thanks Doug, I appreciate the referral. You won't be disappointed with their service (we've been with them for over 2 years now).
