Disappearing Books
Is anyone else here bothered by the fac that books just disappear after you have read them? It makes no sense. What does he do? Light them on fire when he's done reading them? It would make sense if the store doesn't buy them back, but you should be able to at least auction them off.

Considering they're relatively cheap I dont' think it matters to sell them back, used.
Think about it, if you buy a book read it, you sell it 'used' you won't get more than 20% anywhere. Okay now, if we buy that Fastball Book for $200,000, which is about right early in your career. Do you really want to sell it back and get $40,000 back for it?(20% is what you should get back for it if it's used, in real life) I don't think it's that big of a deal. |

The book is like a commodity...picture an energy bar that you munch on to pump yourself up. Once you use the item, it's gone an irrecoverable. The book is symptomatic like that, not a resource like a bat or glove.

I dont know about you but if you create a scrub player who doesnt get a major signing bonus, then yes, I would LOVE to get back 20% on the price of a book. EVery buck helps in the lean years.
